Metroji clue #10

Caracas in five emoji

Venezuela

A long thin city squeezed into a valley with a national park along one side of it. The mountain is the reason the city could never spread north.

What each emoji refers to

Towers rather than sprawl, because the valley floor ran out early.
El Ávila rises straight off the northern edge of the city and separates it from the sea.
El Sistema started here in 1975 and put instruments into the hands of children who could not have bought them.
Baseball is still Venezuela's national game, though the football side has been closing the gap.
The Caribbean coast is half an hour away over the mountain, and about ten degrees warmer.
